We have an opening for a Yacht Manager.
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 5 years’ experience as a Yacht Manager or similar role.
The main function of the yacht manager is to support fleet operation.
Providing guidance on operational issues the Yacht manager will liaise with all relevant departments as / where required (Compliance, Technical, Crew, Accounts). This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary
General responsibilities :
- Liaising with Captain for effective implementation of company procedures, ISM Manuals operational reports, worklists & budgets
- Monitor the yacht location, schedule and owner planning and anticipate yacht needs
- Communicate consistently with crew administration, accounts compliance and technical
- Point of contact with owning company, owners or owners representatives
- Schedule and assist vessel in preparation for Flag and class surveys
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years as a Yacht Manager or similar role
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Organized
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- ISM knowledge is a plus
- Must be legally authorised to work in France
